Service: Groves at Piney Orchard apartments in Odenton, Maryland is an apartment community with two and three bedroom apartments for rent in a wooded country setting. From February 25 to March 1, 2013, greeNEWit serviced the premises of Groves at Piney Orchard with a Quick Home Energy Check-up (QHEC) and installed a total of 3,620 CFL light bulbs and three smart strips in 253 units on the premises. This is the first property smart strips were available for install. These energy upgrades will prevent nearly 116 tons of CO2 from being released into the atmosphere; the CO2 saved is equivalent of nearly 579 trees being planted.
