Service: On May 24, 2013, greeNEWit serviced the home of Bo Ling with a Quick Home Energy Check-up. As part of the Empower Maryland Energy Efficiency Act of 2008, Ling was able to get energy-efficient products installed in his home at no additional cost to his regular utility bill. He received nearly $200 worth of products and with greeNEWit, his installation was free. Through the service, he received 12 CFLs, four faucet aerators and two showerheads. As a result, heíll save 704 pounds of CO2 a year, the equivalent to 1.5 trees being planted.
