As energy efficiency technology continues to break new ground, owners of commercial properties are increasingly seeing the value in retrofitting their facilities.

Retrofits offer facility owners the opportunity to implement new technology that generates a long term reduction in energy usage, as well as increased comfort for occupants. Learn more in our blog about how greeNEWit can help you with retrofit project management for commercial energy efficiency projects.

Retrofit Project Management

Project Management

We will be your comprehensive project manager for the entire project. This includes:

  • Purchasing materials

  • Scheduling crews

  • Overseeing installation

  • Delivering a detailed post-installation report

We can even manage projects using your preferred contractor!

Comprehensive Data

Like any investment, the decision to retrofit is based on the potential for return. We give you a detailed description of your existing systems before the project begins, and conduct post-installation inspections to provide closure. In addition, we offer an optional 12-month verification study for all retrofits to generate real-world energy savings data.

Single Point of Contact

Many property owners have had bad experiences with poorly managed projects in the past. That's why our goal is to make your energy efficiency retrofit project as smooth as possible. We offer a single point of contact through every stage of the project. From its design and implementation, to post measurement and verification, you'll always be able to go to your point of contact with any questions or concerns you may have.

  • Performed a Quick Home Energy Check-Up

  • Installed three smart strips

  • In a total of 253 units

What were the results?

  • 154,280 kWh in electricity saved annually

  • Total savings of $21,162.59 annually

  • Average savings per unit – $83.65

  • Decrease of 116 tons of C02 produced per year, equivalent to nearly 579 trees being planted.
