greeNEWit Founders Selected as 2011 Young Entrepreneurs of the Year by SBA’s Baltimore District Office

BALTIMORE, MD – The three founders of greeNEWit, an energy solutions firm that streamlines energy projects for residential, commercial and government clients, were recently announced as the 2011 Young Entrepreneurs of the Year by the U.S. Small Business Administration’s Baltimore District Office. They will be recognized at 7 a.m. on May 20, 2011 at the 27th Annual Maryland Small Business Week Awards Breakfast. The event will be at Martin’s West, 6817 Dogwood Rd. Baltimore, MD 21244.

Founders Josh Notes, Jason Jannati and Matej Harangozo were selected because of their achievements to the energy efficiency industry in the Baltimore Metropolitan Area. They also started gREATESST, an industry-specific premium software product available to the Home Performance industry, to create solutions for the challenges that currently exist within the energy improvement industry.

gREATESST enhances energy improvement projects by streamlining the way data is captured and jobs are completed. This software platform is revolutionizing the home performance industry by automating redundant tasks and communication procedures so clients can focus on determining the needs of their customer, providing immediate and practical solutions and acquiring new business.

“greeNEWit is being honored for their innovation, strong managerial skills and community involvement,” said Stephen D. Umberger, district director of the SBA Baltimore District Office. “It’s great to see that they know the true reward that comes from giving back and fostering strong communities, a common trait of America’s great business leaders.”

greeNEWit is a comprehensive energy solutions firm and winner of the second annual Baltimore SmartCEO, EcoCEO Award and Most Outstanding Corporation for 2010 National Philanthropy Day.
