Wednesday, June 01, 2016
Mark Siebenaler is a Home Performance Energy Auditor for greeNEWit. By working for greeNEWit, Mark hopes to gain a deeper understanding of green technologies and how to make them more appealing to the general public. In the past, he has been able to work or study in seven different countries in the last decade. His focus was on community development and environmental conservation through the implementation of a variety of different green technologies. Living out of a suitcase has grown a bit tiresome for him, so he has decided to lay roots in Columbia, MD despite being born and raised in St. Louis, MO. He hopes the kind citizens will welcome him with open minds and open hearts because he is loving the beautiful state of Maryland.
Throughout his professional development, Mark has developed a personal belief that anybody can be sold on the benefits of living a green lifestyle. The benefits need only be framed in a fashion that is appealing to each individual. With greeNEWit, he is confident that he will contribute positively to the development of the green revolution.

Below is a list of cities, counties and states that have passed laws requiring benchmarking and reporting for commercial real estate. Current regulations vary in terms of the types and sizes of buildings they affect, in addition to the associated fees.
